The workshop showcased the current state of play in forecasting migration and asylum flows, addressing existing challenges, and the future of forecasting in migration management. Additionally, capitalising on the previous work of the EMN Luxembourg and the Prague Process Digital Lab on digitalisation and modernisation, the workshop highlighted the latest technological advancements in migration, asylum, and data-driven societies, and discuss prospects for their implementation in national and regional contexts. Bringing together representatives from international organisations, EU agencies, migration authorities of the Prague Process participating states, including EU Member States, and academia, the workshop featured presentations on artificial intelligence, big data, and various algorithms, approaches, and models of foresight, forecasting, and predictive analysis, among others.
