The EMN produces several studies on an annual basis which address specific themes of relevance to policy developments. EMN Studies are based on National Reports from EMN NCPs which are produced using common specifications. Based on the National Reports, a Synthesis Report is drafted which highlights the main findings within an EU perspective.
EMN Studies are produced in two different formats: Main Studies and Focussed Studies. Main Studies are broader, lengthier and provide for more detail than Focussed Studies which specifically aim to provide short, topical and timely responses to the needs of policymakers in relation to a current/pressing issue.
